What are TCI’s minimum driving requirements?

  1. Min. 12 months recent CDL experience
  2. Qualify for Min. 1 year Med Card
  3. No DUIs w/in the last 5 years
  4. No more than 3 moving violations w/in the last 3 years
  5. Verifiable 3 year or recent work history

What are the steps I need to take to become a driver with TCI?

After you complete your application, a recruiter or hiring manager will reach out to you for an interview. Next, our recruitment team will run reports, and then you will be invited to come by for a road or yard test. Upon completing the road/yard test, you will be provided with your drug screen and physical paperwork. As soon as the recruitment team receives your clinic results, you will be contacted to schedule your paid orientation. After orientation, you will be an official TCI team member and will prepare for your first day!

How often do TCI employees get paid?

We get paid weekly. Friday is payday but typically we get paid every Thursday.

Does TCI offer direct deposit?

Yes. You will have the option to set up direct deposit through your ADP account during the orientation process. Your direct deposit will be activated within 3 payroll periods. In the meantime, you will get paper checks that will be overnighted to your terminal. If you work at a remote location you can choose the option to have your check mailed to the address we have on file.

What kind of incentive programs does TCI have?

  • Safety Incentives- paid quarterly
  • Driver referral bonus- If we hire drivers that you refer you will earn $1000 for each driver. Some requirements apply. Please contact your recruiter for more details.

When will I be eligible for TCI benefits?

Full time employees are eligible for benefits including medical, dental and vision. If you elect coverage benefits will start first of the month following your 90 days of employment. You will be given a benefit guide at orientation with all the plan options and coverage details. As a TCI employee, you will have exactly 85 days from the date of hire to complete your benefit election(s).

When is TCI’s open enrollment period?

Open enrollment begins in July each year. At this time, you can enroll and/or make changes to your existing plans. Any changes you make will be effective August 1st.

Does TCI offer 401k?

TCI offers 401k to employees who complete one year of employment. TCI will also match 25 percent of your contributions up to 12 percent.
