Diesel Technician Level 3

TCI Transportation is Hiring for 2 Level 3 Diesel Technicians to join our growing fleet!
We have AM and Swing Shift Available! $34.02 – $38.52 an hour depending on skills and experience

  • Preventative Maintenance at the shop and customer’s facilities when required
  • General maintenance, PMs and vehicle inspections.
  • Diagnostic/troubleshooting and repairs on different levels
  • California 90 day BIT & Federal USDOT inspections
  • Must own your own tools or tool programs are available
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license. CDL holders a plus!
  • Trade school, mechanical course and or hands on experience
  • Self-motivated & Leadership skills a plus
  • Physically able to perform all facets of mechanical and technical skills

** Level 3 Technician- Minimum 4 Years Experience in Similar Role:
You will generally assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components or remove/replace major components of various truck and trailer equipment at the direction of Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor. Expectations include the ability to diagnose and repair the following with little or no supervision: Clutches, PTO Systems, Electric Systems, Hydraulic/ Air Brake Systems, Heating/ Air Conditioning Systems, Instruments and Gauges, and Preventive Maintenance Service.
 

  • 4+ years Diesel Engine Repair
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Self-motivated & Leadership skills
