Veterans at TCI
Our nation’s Veterans have our utmost respect and gratitude. TCI wholeheartedly welcomes these individuals and supports them in their post-service careers. We are proud to have veterans in all parts of our organization and will continue to strive to be the employer of choice for this group of American Heroes.
Veterans Programs, Information, and Recognition
We respect your service to this country, as well as you as an individual. We recognize Veterans every month as well as on major holidays for their service and continued service to the United States if America. We provide updates and information for all veterans on things like PTSD services, VA State and Federal events, and more, all dedicated to Veterans and their families. And we have programs in place to ensure you feel that respect and recognition from the moment you join the TCI team.
Access to Dedicated Support and Career Guidance.
You’re not alone, and there’s always someone to help when you need it. TCI helps aid and support your needs when it comes to your VA appointments and other related situations. You have access to many resources the company offers, plus we have trained individuals to help guide you in the right direction. Future plans include VA clinics held at each terminal yearly and quarterly web meetings for any veteran who would like to attend with guest speakers on topics like leadership, current military news, VA news, and more.
4K Frontline to Freeway Veteran Scholarship
Our 4K Frontline to Freeway Veteran scholarship is open to all veterans currently serving active or reserve/guard, the veteran’s children, and spouses within the company. We work with Veterans on a one-on-one basis to ensure the transition from the service to the highway is a smooth one. With TCI you’re not a number, you’re a name. And you become a part of a large family that supports you, your service, and recognizes that we are all different – accepting you for who you are. We also support your family as they have served right along with you during deployments and TDY.
Pride On the Road
Presenting TCI’s Military-Themed Trucks
At TCI Transportation, honoring our veterans is a core value we live by. Each year, we wrap a new tractor in a unique design and present it to a veteran driver from our team. This wrapped tractor is a rolling tribute, showcasing our deep respect and appreciation for veterans from coast to coast. By honoring our veterans with these impactful wraps, we shine a light on their incredible contributions and show just how much they mean to our TCI family.

Testimonials
“I proudly served twelve years as an Aviation Officer (Captain) in the United States Army and carried out multiple duties to include Company Commander, Air Assault Pilot, Nuclear, Biological, Chemical warfare officer, and Master Fitness Trainer to note a few. These duties and experience not only helped hone my leadership skills, but also fine-tuned my commitment to honor, service, character, and duty to country. Today, and for the past eight years, I have lead TCI’s sales and marketing efforts and new service offerings across all divisions of the company.”
“As a proud USAF Combat Veteran, I oversee the Military Veteran & Services Program here at TCI. I also run East Coast Operations out of Northeastern Ohio and the surrounding states. My passion is serving those who have served, and my top priority is building an industry-leading program for all Veterans and their family members. One of the major factors in my decision to joining the TCI family is how not only myself, but my military service was welcomed, and appreciated by such a great company. TCI has so many BIG things to come designed to support our Veterans, and I am honored to be here.”
“I am a proud United States Army Veteran, having served in the Army National Guard for 6 years as a Medic at Los Alamitos Army Airfield base in California. Today I manage TCI’s Ottawa dealership out of our Phoenix Arizona location. I also manage our Used Truck Dealership with multiple locations in California and Arizona. September 2022 was my 20th year at TCI. I am fortunate to work for a company where the owners are passionate about helping others and heavily involved in various nonprofit organizations.”
“TCI’s Veterans Program has been a top priority for not only our owners, but our fellow veterans within the company. And it has been thoughtfully built to support those who do not wear the uniform everyday anymore, yet who continue to serve this country as an essential part of America’s infrastructure. I am proud and honored to be on the TCI team.”
