This position is responsible for the overall maintenance program for a 24/7 shop. You will plan, organize and inspect the work performed by your team. You will have independent discretion in judgment and report directly to the Regional Service Manager.
If you are bilingual in Spanish or other languages that is a plus. Strong computer skills are a requirement with at least 5 years of experience in a busy diesel truck repair shop.
Job Requirements:
Operational Skills: This position requires an individual experienced in the service and repair of diesel trucks and trailers. We are looking for a fundamentally solid performer who is consistently able to facilitate multiple projects and remain productive under pressure.
Management: This position requires experience in managing and coaching others. Troubleshooting any issues with a truck repair.
Analysis: Coordinating with operational staff in order to receive maximum productivity from technicians while operating within DOT, OSHA and company safety departments.
Communication: This position requires the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers; and the ability to confront and resolve performance or service issues with customers effectively.
