Position Overview
As the Vice President, Information Technology, you will lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of TCI’s information systems, ensuring they power our business growth, innovation, and resilience. You will work closely with the executive team to implement cutting-edge technologies, optimize system performance, and foster a technology-driven culture across the enterprise.
This is a high-impact leadership role, critical to supporting TCI’s long-term success and strengthening our position as a technology-forward organization in the transportation industry.
Systems Architecture & Strategy: Develop a unified, scalable, and innovative IT architecture aligned with TCI’s business goals.
Technology Optimization & Innovation: Champion custom-built solutions that are cost-effective and create competitive advantages.
Employee Adoption: Drive adoption of technologies through smart communication, training, and change management strategies.
Digital Transformation: Lead enterprise-wide initiatives to modernize operations, enhance efficiency, and improve business outcomes.
Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement: Establish KPIs, track progress, and lead annual cross-functional system reviews to ensure alignment with business needs.
System Health & Reliability: Monitor and enhance system performance, security, and reliability, minimizing risks and maximizing uptime.
Business Continuity & Resilience: Oversee the development and testing of robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovation-driven culture.
Executive Partnership: Advise senior leaders on IT strategy, system investments, and future needs, ensuring alignment with capital planning and long-term objectives.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage technology partners and vendors to deliver maximum value and ensure alignment with TCI’s vision.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree highly preferred.
12+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with 3–5 years in a senior or executive role.
Proven track record in designing and executing IT strategies, driving digital transformation, and scaling infrastructure.
Experience in the transportation or logistics industry (preferred).
Deep expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance.
Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to build and inspire high-performing teams.
Strong data-driven decision-making abilities and a passion for leveraging technology to drive operational excellence.
